Puppies from our Past

Laurie,
I'm not sure if you remember us, but we purchased Sasha from you in Sep/Oct of 1994.  She was born from Black Top and Amy of Riverdell.
Sadly, today we had her put to sleep.  Up until this past month, she showed very little signs of aging, well other than a remarkable sense of "selective listening" or the loss of hearing in the past 6 months.  However, in the past month, she went downhill rapidly to the point of barely being able to control her hind legs as she attempted to walk.
We can't begin to tell you what a wonderful part of our family she has been.  We've dragged her all over the world where my assignments have had us, but ended up in Brussels, Belgium.  Over the past year she has been in
the North Sea on the Belgian coast, as well as the Alps in Austria.  And up until these past three weeks, she has spent every night hogging more than her fair share of our bed.
I hope you don't find it odd, but we thought you like to see two pictures of her that we took today.  Though she still looked great, it was difficult to see her attempt to walk...when only a month ago she was still accompanying us on mile long runs.
Growing up my parents bred, showed, groomed and sold dogs.  I believe I had way more than my fair share of breeds, from Yorkies to Newfs, but believe me when I say that none of those dogs were close to Sasha in her
intelligence, loyalty and companionship for our entire family.
Thanks for making our lives a bit better and we hope that you are still doing the same for others.
Fondly,

 The Lynch Family

Good Morning Laura,
I thought I would email you to let you know that our new puppy is the most wonderful little guy I could have wished for.  Ben and I wanted to give him a unique name so we chose Gizmo.  He is a very quick learner.  He is almost house trained and knows how to go up and down the stairs outside to do his business.  He goes up the stairs inside the house but we have not let him come down by himself because there are to many steps and I am afraid he will fall and get hurt ( I am an overprotective mom).  I know it will not be long before he will be able to come down by himself.
Everyone that meets him thinks he is the most loveable little guy they have meet. He licks everyone's face when he meets them and is just happy go lucky. I think you picked the perfect match for our family and I want to THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for allowing me to bring him into my home.  He has filled a big void in my heart and I love him as much as the other dogs I have owned.  He loves to cuddle with us and follows me everywhere.  He keeps an eye on me and if I am not in the room he tries to find me.  I think we have already bonded.   Please be assured that I will give him the best care and life he could possible have.
My Vet is very anxious to meet him, he called the other day when he found out that I had him home.  He is very happy that we found you and were able to purchase a dog from a reputable breeder.  He repeatedly expressed his concern for us to find someone we feel comfortable with and that knows about the breed.  He didn't want to see us go through what we went through with Max.
Once again, THANK YOU very much for letting me fill that void with one of your puppies. They are awesome!!!

Hi Laura-
You probably don't remember me, in 1994 we got a female Sheltie from you, we named Sadie. I believe she was the largest of the litter...mother was Lady.
Unfortunately our Sadie passed away on Monday, she had lung tumors. She was such a great girl.
I just wanted you to know she gave us so much joy and love in her 13 1/2 years. I miss her terribly and am lost without her. I wanted to thank you for her. Do you still have Shelties? Thanks again -

Hi Laura,
It has been about 11 years since we have seen you. However, we wanted to let you know that Orey the German Shepherd
puppy you gave us is doing wonderfully. He is now 10+ and puppy-like as ever. He can't stay still for 5 minutes when there
is a ball in sight. Other than the fact that he is graying around his muzzle and he has lost some muscle mass, he acts like
a three-year-old dog. He is great with the boys and their friends and is quite amusing to watch play with the cat who thinks
she is as big as him but not too fond of other dogs. We are hoping he he will be with us for many years to come.
We were wondering if you were still in the business of German Shepherd breeding? If you are, we were hoping that you had
continued that blood line.
Sincerely,
M. Lynn Lyman
